Wedding ceremonies . . .
A wedding ceremony in Australia can be conducted at any time, and any place. It marks the beginning of your married lives and so is a life changing event.
I only perform one ceremony each day which ensures my full commitment to you on your wedding day. All couples are unique therefore I believe no two ceremonies should be the same.
My service includes:
* Preparation of all legal documents
* meetings with you to plan and prepare your ceremony (as many as you need)
* Phone and email contact anytime
* Preparation of a personalised ceremony
* PA system if required (usually needed for most outdoor ceremonies)
* Covered signing table with two chairs
* All travel and conducting your ceremony
* Lodgement of all documents with Births, Deaths and Marriages following the ceremony

About the process . . .
The Notice of Intended Marriage (the Notice) must be lodged a minimum of one month before your ceremony. As an example, if the Notice is received by the Celebrant on 7 August, the earliest the wedding ceremony can take place is 7 September.
To complete the Notice, both parties must provide:
* Original birth certificates (full or extract) or
* Passport from country of birth (cancelled Passports are not acceptable)
* Certificate of divorce/decree nisi (if applicable)
* Death certificate of a previous spouse (if applicable)
We would generally meet on two occasions prior to your ceremony. At the first meeting we complete the Notice and begin planning your ceremony. This is also an opportunity for me to get to know you as a couple and personalise your ceremony. The second meeting is generally a brief rehearsal closer to the ceremony. At this meeting both parties to the marriage are required to complete a Declaration which states there is no legal impediment to your pending marriage.
As your celebrant it is my responsibility to ensure your ceremony and marriage is legal and binding. I adhere strictly to the Code of Practice for Marriage Celebrants to ensure all legal processes are followed.
Please feel free to contact me if you would like any further information or to enquire about my availability for your ceremony.
