Naming Ceremonies . . .
Naming ceremonies are a centuries old tradition used to celebrate the birth of a child and welcome them into the community. As an alternative to religious Christenings, they provide you with the opportunity to personalise your child's ceremony, choose your own venue, and include family and friends in a meaningful way.
Whilst most naming ceremonies are performed shortly after birth, a child's 1st birthday is also a popular occasion to celebrate their life in such a ceremony.
As they are not a legal ceremony, there are no rules and the format can be completely your choice. I can provide you with many suggestions and ideas, or perhaps you have some of your own thoughts on what you would like to include in your naming ceremony.
Please contact me for more information or to enquire about my availability for your planned ceremony.
